In the work Geschliffene Gründe (Sanded Grounds), I deal with the geological history of the Allgäu and its traces that are still visible today by means of the geotope of the „Geological Organs“.
Audiovisual field recordings, animations and musical interpretations by the sound artist Rashelle Reyneveld give the Geological Organs a sound and tell with clear, poetic images of different time dimensions, of processes, microscopic, or larger than we are able to imagine.
Funded within the framework of the project funding programme Intelligent Landscapes.

In der Arbeit Geschliffene Gründe beschäftige ich mich mit der geologischen Geschichte des Allgäus und deren noch heute sichtbaren Spuren anhand des Geotops der „Geologischen Orgeln“.
Audiovisuelle Feldaufnahmen, Animationen und musikalische Interpretationen der Klangkünstlerin Rashelle Reyneveld verleihen den Geologischen Orgeln einen Klang und erzählen mit klaren, poetischen Bildern von unterschiedlichen Zeitdimensionen, von Prozessen, mikroskopisch klein, oder größer als wir es uns vorzustellen vermögen.
